Vintage Hope SS Hub - disc ready

I found my first singlespeed rear wheel yesterday. Like grandfathers spade - six new handles and two new heads - it isn’t exactly the wheel that carried me round Mayhem back in 1998. Three new freewheels and one new rim in this case, but hub and spokes original.

I’ve fitted it with an 18 tooth Eno in case my legs die at Mayhem this weekend and will be taking it as a spare. I’m tempted to do a a lap on it just for the sake of riding a ten year old wheel.

It also made me realise that this years Mayhem will be #9 for my little black Spot. She now has seven National, one Euro and one Worlds under her belt too. Yes, I am more singlespeedy than you.
