SSWC v CO2

At first it may seem parochial of me to only attend the SSWC when it lands somewhere here in the UK.

But what is your carbon footprint to travel to what, at the end of the day, is only a bike race?

    Good call.

    Ironically, it looks like flying would be by far the easiest (and probably cheapest) way for me to get to SSUK in Brisol. I won’t, obviously, but it shows how arse bacwards everything is.

    I’m currently on the look-out for a lift so that at least I’m sharing my CO2 emissions.

    That’s why you hang around for a week afterward and make a getaway of it all. But yeah, I hear ya about the carbon footprint. I do what I can…

    Not saying we can’t or shouldn’t fly, but we save it in pennies then spend it in pounds.
