Sod That
News reaches us that the TwentyFour12 race is moving to within spitting distance of SSMM.
Another big Twenty Four hour race moves farther South.
“A location that, for most, will take a little less time to get to as well.”
Keith Bontrager
Sorry Keith, but I’m pretty sure that in American schools Geography 101 doesn’t teach you about the gridlock on the British motorway system around Birmingham every Friday that everyone from the top half of the country will have to endure. Expect plenty of whinging from folk north of Stoke.

At least us southerners won’t have to try and cope with Birmingham for a change.
Bloody northern whingers :)

For a change? If you’re driving through Birmingham to get to SSMM then you need a better road atlas. :^)

I had to drive past Birmingham last time I did SSMM and SITS :)

I must say I’m struggling to see the falsehood in Keith’s statement. Just because it may take some people longer to get there doesn’t mean that it won’t take most people less long to get there.
