Bobby on the Beat
We’ve just got ourselves a bicycle beat bobby.
It’s obvious that a) no-one has shown her how to set up her bike to fit her, or b) given her any lights.
I mention the lights because she was riding round at night without them.
Even so, hurray I say. Especially as I’ve seen her a couple of times on one of our worst stretches of highway. Hopefully when some tosser in a car drifts into the cycle lane while racing towards a red light - I don’t know why they bother - and nudges her elbow she’ll deliver a bollocking when she catches them up at the aforementioned lights.
I don’t fancy her chances of catching local baseball capped yoof on their shonky brakeless steeds though.

You’re assuming she’ll catch them at the lights / be prepared to be assaulted.

Round here the cars travel slower than the bikes, even when you don’t jump them.
