For all my recent ravings I would just like to clarify that I’m not against the idea of 29ers per se. I certainly have no problems at all with this big blue 29er. Still, it is made for a guy over 6 foot tall so it looks a whole lot more proportioned than one built for folk of my stature.

Big wheels for bigger folk, smaller wheels for smaller folk is my attitude at the moment. Use the wheelsize that works best for you, don’t just accept something based on the hype.
