Humble Pie Time

I’ve never been a fan of Biff’s Jones, though I appreciate the artistry that has gone into the frame, and I’m sorely tempted by some H-bars.

Then Biff entered the Fred Whitton Challenge - a brutal day out in the Lake District over all the hardest passes. For the trip Biff slapped some 700c wheels on the Jones, and some tyres that look more like O-rings.

I’m not sure if that makes it a 29er ‘cos it’s definitely not an MTB any more.

But it is very very nice.
