Cocks!

First rule of cheeky trails - no-one talks about cheeky trails.

The guys at Bogtrotters seem to have missed the point and are happy to publicise their indiscretion in one of the UKs biggest National Parks, on a Sunday afternoon on both their own website and
the biggest cycling forum in the UK.

This kind of stupidity beggars belief, and from a club that’s affiliated to IMBA and the CTC is indefensible. The claims of being an “anarchist” carry about as much weight as Rik in The Young Ones.

Fortunately the weight of feeling against this kind of stupidity gives me hope that the Park Rangers and authorities will realise that these are the actions of a few and are not very well received within our own community.

I’m not claiming to be holier than thou - much of where I learnt to ride wasn’t strictly legit, hence I learnt to ride in the dark too, and enjoy riding alone. There’s a time and a place for cheeky trails, and this quite spectacularly wasn’t it.

As for the Bogtrotters, the last words on that subject have been written more eloquently by others…

Animals that shit their own nests are few and far between, and are generally not held in very high regard in the animal kingdom.

you got a hard on for this Mike guy dontcha

    ;)

but that’s flat out retarded what those assmonkeys are doing…

if they are stupid enough to shit in their own space, they probably are stupid enough to miss the fact that the ‘opposition’ reads what they spew publically…

may their wheels catch a gap big enough to take em down hard

Update : One of the guys on this ride works as a Rights Of Way officer for the local council that has been putting up No Cycling signs on the very footpaths where I first went off-road.

Seems a definite case of double standards there.
