26 v 20

Enough of the 29er ponderings.

Die Wikipedia, Die?

As an occasional contributor I had wondered about posting on the news that the Encyclopaedia Brittanica is
challenging the results of a Nature study that revealed Wikipedia is as accurate as their weighty tome.
Sure, Wikipedia is written by the man in the street and should always be viewed with Jim Pooley (or was it John […]

Unhappy Anniversary

Fan
It’s a year now since the theft of my Maverick, Fan. She was taken, along with the roofrack she was locked to, from the roof of our car.

The conclusion I’ve drawn from reading these two articles together is that other variables, such as suspension design have a larger effect than wheel size.
Well, […]

Symmetry will finally be restored to the car.

Hell Hath No Fury

There’s no need for the British National Champion, Jenny Copnall, to express her disgust at being scorned by the BCF selectors for the MTB race at the Commonwealth Games. Every cycling forum here in the UK is hot with indignation on her behalf (see, for instance, Singletrack and XCRacer.com).
If she’d been Welsh or Scottish […]
