Swobo are back…

…in the UK at Stif.
My own Swobo top is no longer royal blue but baby blue. Even so it still finds it’s way into my kit bag for 24 hour races.
At the time I was given (thanks Chipps!) my Swobo top the choice was Swobo or, er, Swobo. These days we are rather more spoilt for choice. Endura, Brooks, Lab Gear, Spot (natch), etc etc. I could go on but frankly I can’t be arsed looking for all the links.
However I must confess, at the risk of being ostracised by the fawning Swobo fans all hailing the welcome return of Tim Parr, to preferring the thinner Merino tops from Sideways. The one I bought four years ago gets worn all year round for cycling and horse duties. At the risk of appearing disgusting it’s been worn every morning for the last four weeks for mucking out and horse-riding duties and it still doesn’t smell.
Back to Swobo and Tim Parr is interviewed in Singletrack #26. This time he has a long term plan for the brand, and I for one hope that this time round they stay on the scene a lot longer.
