MLC
I went over to the Cheek Republic today for what was billed as the MLC ride.
SteveM has gone and bought himself a long travel burly hardtail and it needed christening. Dave_A has got himself a long travel Orange instead of his one-speed. And me? Well the Turner has a new Pro-Pedal Fox shock to try out after the Alps 4R ate its seals. And I’ve just fitted MLC handlebars.
I nearly didn’t make it to forty when my front tyre let go on the very first downhill. Think slippery and steep stone-slabbed pack-horse trail.
We had four hours of fun, including several photostops for Dan.
To top it all off, to celebrate a ride in Yorkshire we had Yorkshire Pudding for tea.

Yorkshire Pudding
I haven’t had so much fun on a ride in a while.
