Pondering
Pondering whilst riding down to Stoke on Trent the other day, reflecting on recent cheeky and night rides.
If it can’t be ridden on steel hardtail it probably isn’t worth riding.
You can ride a heck of a lot of stuff on a steel hardtail.
5 watts is enough lighting power for 90% of night riding.
10 watts will do 5%.
You can manage the remaining 5% by moonlight.
2.1″ is a fat tyre. More than that is just bragging.
You can spend lots of money on fancy tread patterns or you can just stick to square knobs.
It doesn’t matter what type of shifters you’ve got - if at all.
Flat bars, taller stem, and bar ends make the best cockpit.
Riser bars are more fashionable.
