Puijilittatuq
Just browsing a BBC Magazine article about lost languages. In the sidebar was a rather spectacular Inuktit word.
Puijilittatuq - he does not know which way to turn because of the many seals he has seen come to the ice surface.
What a fantastic word. Words like that should not be allowed to die out. I must admit a bias though. I love the sound of Inuit words. After all, why else would my horse be called Pukeenegak?
While Inuktit might be dying out I shall try to remember this word, but I shall bastardise it’s meaning. I shall use it whenever I am in the presence of large numbers of singlespeeds.
He does not know which way to turn because of the many pimpy singlespeeds he has seen come out of the woodwork.
