Not Thetford Enduro

I could get up ridiculously early this Sunday and drive for hours to ride the Thetford Enduro.

This is very tempting. I love Thetford’s swoopiness. That said two of my most disappointing rides have been at Thetford. Oh, I enjoyed the swoops, I was just completely unfit. During Dusk ‘Til Dawn a couple years ago I spent one long agonising gentle fireroad climb (bear with me) working out that Thetford had nearly one thousand feet of climbing per lap - all in 6″ bumps.

I’m heartily sick at the moment of early mornings. Driving down from Lancashire to Portman Country once a month with work is getting to me. Looks like I’ll be doing another 70+ miler on the Il Pompnio then.
