I know, I know. It's still in draft. I've been mad busy at work, designing and setting up a new website for a friend, *and* hunting season is about tostart so I've been overhauling *that* website, plus managing all their photo galleries, riding out to Southport for the airshow... Maybe I'll stay up late tonight and finish it after all the other web work I have to do this evening. The iPod memoire bit is done at least.

They felt immediately comfy and were brilliant on the Kielder 100. The x-link closure system just snagged the edge of my cranks (Race Face Turbune LP) a couple of times on Saturday when I was tucking my heels in on technical riding, but never interrupted my pedal flow.

Having spent so long riding in dark shoes I kept catching sight of them at the edges of my vision and wondering what it was before realising “it’s my feet”. A few miles of muddy trail solved that, but I was told by a fellow racer that CIF foam works a treat on the pearlescent finish.
